College GameDay Week 1: Best signs from Oregon vs. Auburn

College GameDay heads to AT&T Stadium ahead of Oregon vs. Auburn for the first full Saturday of the 2019 season and these are the best GameDay signs.

We got a glimpse of ESPN’s College GameDay prior to Thursday night’s kickoff between Clemson and Georgia Tech. However, we all know that the preview show is best served on a Saturday morning packed to the brim with action. Thus, everyone should be excited to wake up for Week 1 as the GameDay signs and everyone we love is in Texas around AT&T Stadium for a top-20 clash between the Oregon Ducks and Auburn Tigers.

A venue like AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, is the perfect place to truly get College GameDay started. Though the set is actually a bit down the road in Fort Worth, there’s no doubt that the fans from both schools that traveled will be in attendance. And with them hopefully comes a good crop of GameDay signs.

Last season, there were some strong showing from the College GameDay signs that the fans brought. On the whole, however, there were just some lackluster weeks and a lot of recycled jokes throughout the season.

As the 2019 season begins anew, though, the hope is that Oregon and Auburn fans can set the tone right and give us some humor, originality and more with the signs that they have in Texas. Everything is bigger there, as they say, so perhaps that will apply to the GameDay festivities.

Despite the neutral field, though, these two fan bases traveled and brought the noise to the set. These are the best College GameDay signs from Oregon vs. Auburn at AT&T Stadium.

Helping to kick off primetime of the first Saturday of the 2019 college football season with a matchup like Oregon vs. Auburn at a venue like Jerry World is certainly a big deal. The fans certainly realize that too, but how did their College GameDay signs measure up to last year’s best and what kind of standard did they set for this year? Hopefully, it’s the beginning of a good thing.
