Leicester are one of four Premier League teams to not lose one of their first three games. On Saturday, the Foxes welcome Bournemouth to King Power Stadium. The Cherries lost to Manchester City last weekend but have four points in their first three games.
Leicester defeated Sheffield 2-1 last weekend. Jamie Vardy scored his first goal of the season and looks primed to lead the Foxes in scoring again this season. Vardy will be joined by James Maddison and Ayoze Perez in the front three for the Foxes. While Perez is still trying to find chemistry with his new teammates, Maddison is off to a great start to the season. Maddison leads Leicester with two assists this season and set up Vardy’s goal against Sheffield. While Leicester have a good attack they are still struggling to find a replacement for Harry Maguire. The Foxes made a massive profit selling Maguire to Manchester United, it has created a hole at center-back for the club that could leave them vulnerable defensively.
Bournemouth were unsurprisingly beaten by Manchester City last weekend. The Citizens completely outplayed the Cherries. Howe will almost certainly not start a with a back five again, after doing so against City. Bournemouth have a lot of talented attacking players but struggle to get the ball forward to them. If the Cherries can get strong play from their midfield, they could steal points from Leicester at King Power Stadium. Not a lot was made of Bournemouth signing Harry Wilson on loan from Liverpool before the start of the season but Wilson has been excellent, scoring two of the club’s four goals this season.
