Being the Elite is a weekly YouTube series that features The Elite and their friends to build AEW’s characters and storylines. New episodes are posted every Monday.

Episode 168 of Being the Elite shows the view from Matt Jackson’s eyes. Hangman Page is on the horse near where the floor seats are located. Nick is bouncing on a folded ladder. Matt flips the camera around and says “where the h–l am I?”

The Young Bucks are standing in front of the All In plaque at the Sears Centre Arena. We get Starrcast meet and greet footage at their signing. There’s a guest spot with MASA and a fan brings them custom shoes. We cut to the Bucks outside and they discuss the Thanksgiving Eve show, which will be live from Sears Centre.

Page says he did “cowboy s–t” and got a horse, even though they told him not to. He asks the Bucks if it’s okay and says he’s going to do it anyway. He ultimately got their approval. A man in a security shirt rides the horse down the ramp and to the floor seats where Page will dismount.

There’s more behind-the-scenes footage where the crew is testing the set and smoke. Some of the wrestlers are testing their entrances.

Backstage Tommy Dreamer and Michael Nakazawa are playing Cracker Barrel checkers with Rick Knox officiating. While Nakazawa is contemplating his next move, he takes a sip of water. He spits the water in Dreamer’s face, right in front of Knox. Knox says he didn’t see it and Dreamer says he even has to job at checkers.

Back in the horse trailer, Page introduces Kip Sabian to his horse, Hunter Horse Helmsley (who is disrespectful and won’t shake Sabian’s hand). Sabian tells Page that his match with Jericho is “the biggest match in AEW’s history” and that it’s “the moment of our generation.” He knows what Page can do. Page responds, “honestly, I don’t think it’ll take longer than 19 minutes” as both men look into the camera (this is a reference to their match at Fight for the Fallen).

It’s now the night of All Out. Luchasaurus is looking around backstage for Jungle Boy. He finds him perched on top of electrical equipment with his hand on a switch. Luchasaurus tells him not to flip the switch. It cuts to Evil UNO and the Minions, who are leaving with Trent? when the lights go out. When the lights come up, it reveals that Orange Cassidy is in the ring. Cassidy hits a tope suicida in typical Freshly Squeezed style with his hands in his pockets.

There’s more behind-the-scenes footage with SCU entering the stage from the Gorilla position and more montage action of wrestlers getting ready to make their entrances. The Librarians are backstage and Leva Bates says she’s excited. Peter Avalon says he can’t believe they’re “still having to do this.” We then get footage of even more behind-the-scenes of entrances.

The Bucks talk to the media after their match, though the audio isn’t very loud. Some clips are shown of their match. Matt said in their 15-year career, he’s never seen the locker room look so terrified. Nick said his wife told them to call their parents right away.

We see Chris Jericho’s backstage promo through Brandon Cutler’s eyes.

Page is sitting in the locker room, freshly showered after his match. The Bucks come in and congratulate him on a great match. They invited Page to come with them and he says he needs a minute. As he sits in the room gathering his thoughts, the show ends.
