Mayans MC season 2 premiere live stream: Watch online

EZ Reyes and the boys in the Mayans MC are back for a second season beginning tonight. Here’s how you can watch online.

Mayans M.C., Kurt Sutter’s successful Sons of Anarchy spin-off, returns tonight for its second season. If it is anything like the first, we’re in for another wild ride. It’s difficult to capture the same magic and success Sons had, but Sutter is certainly on the right track with Mayans.

Season 1 ended with Mayans M.C. prospect EZ Reyes (J.D. Pardo) finally finding out who killed his mother. It was the driving force that led to a life of crime for EZ and the source of it all ended up unexpectedly being an ally.

Mama Reyes was killed by none other than Happy (David LaBrava), a beloved-but-violent staple from the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club. Season 1 ended with EZ’s discovery so we can expect some sort of confrontation during the second season of the show. It could spell trouble for the relationship between the Mayans and the Sons, which took a long time to broker.

The other members of our favorite biker gang are in hot water as well. The club’s president, Bishop (Michael Irby) suspects there to be a rat in the club. EZ’s brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas) is in love with the leader of the rebels, who were hell-bent on taking down the Galindo Cartel. The head of that cartel, Miguel Galindo (Danny Pino), cut a deal with both the rebels and the FBI. Perhaps most surprisingly of all, Alvarez (Emilio Rivera), the long-time M.C. leader and broker of peace between the Mayans and the Sons hung up his cut to join the cartel as Miguel’s adviser.

If the season 2 trailer tells us anything, it’s that the club is wading into deeper waters this year. With trouble on all fronts and a web of intertwined characters that is going to come crashing down at any minute, season 2 is going to be a wild ride.
