5 college football bets to take to the bank in Week 2
College football Week 2 features two monster top-15 matchups, which also happen to be among the five best bets throughout the country this week.
College football returned to our lives in full force last week and provided plenty of entertainment. From Auburn’s unlikely comeback to beat Oregon to Jalen Hurts putting the world on notice in his first game with Oklahoma, the action was all around the country in Week 1. Now, we enter Week 2 of the 2019 college football season and, as great as the first group of games turned out to be, we could be in for even more excitement this Saturday.
Two games headline the action in Week 2 of the college football season. The first of those matchups is the Clemson Tigers, the No. 1 team in the country, welcoming the No. 12 ranked Texas A&M Aggies to Death Valley on Saturday afternoon. Last season, Jimbo Fisher’s team played Clemson tougher than any team on the schedule, falling just short of a comeback win and losing by two points. We should see another highly competitive contest this week, too.
The other matchup that will steal headlines is the LSU Tigers traveling to Austin and taking on the Texas Longhorns, a matchup between top-10 teams. Both squads were dominant in their season-openers as quarterback Joe Burrow and Sam Ehlinger put their names on the Heisman Trophy watchlist. These two teams should provide plenty of fireworks on the Longhorns home field.
When it comes to these high-profile college football games, though, they are sometimes difficult to bet on. That’s not the case with these two matchups on Saturday between top-15 teams. In fact, they both provide some of the best bets throughout the country in Week 2 of the 2019 season.
Looking throughout the landscape of the sport, we’re going to highlight the best college football bets of Week 2, including Texas A&M-Clemson and LSU-Texas, to see where you should be investing your capital this week. Before we get to the high-profile matchups, though, we start in Columbus.
