DraftKings MLB picks September 4: All that glitters is Goldschmidt
Tis the (part of the DraftKings MLB) season for crazy, jacked up DraftKings MLB slates. There is one afternoon game, two games that start a half hour earlier than everyone else, then the main DraftKings MLB slate.

For the āturboā 6:30 eastern slate, Iām taking advantage of the discount on Bauer and using anyone against the Rangers. The main slate takes more than two sentences to break down, but I suppose thatās why youāre here.
Rain: Boston(slight), Oakland(slight)
Wind: 12 mph out to right (hello Twins bats!)
Hot/Humid: Pittsburgh(humid), Boston(humid), Cleveland(humid), St Louis(humid), Kansas City(humid), Phoenix(very hot), Oakland(very humid)
Arizona has the best hitting weather once again. Some humidity is still around, but the heat is mostly gone for much of the country. Boston is nice with the wind blowing out. Not for the pitchers though.
I had a good night last night thanks to rotating Clevinger, Jack Flaherty, Mike Montgomery, and Lester for my pitchers. My one off Mitch Keller was looking great until he got hurt in the second inning. That lineup still hit minimum cash.
The September callups do provide additional value throughout, but for all of those that play, it means an established part of the lineup gets a day off. Keep a close eye on the starting lineups before locking in your plays. As a result, many plays mentioned in this article will get a day off. With this coming out 16 hours before lineups lock, that is bound to happen.
These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. We have plenty of writers on here who give you relevant information no matter which site you play on, and we all attack the slate from different angles.
