NFL DFS game by game breakdown: Week 1
By Joe Metz
Welcome to the first NFL DFS game-by-game breakdown of the 2019 Fantasy Football season!
These will be weekly pieces that are published every Wednesday, giving you a comprehensive look at every single game of the week from Thursday through Monday.
We’ve waited 8 long and painful months for NFL football to return and alas – it’s finally here, the best time of the year where we can kick back and watch football all day long while staring at our fantasy football and NFL DFS lineups.
The 2019 season is already ripe with storylines, headed by the contractual holdouts of Ezekiel Elliott and Melvin Gordon, recently followed by the Jadeveon Clowney trade and the Chiefs signing LeSean McCoy. We’ve had pieces left and right at FanSided covering every headline and on top of that, we’ve established a wonderful partnership with The Fantasy Footballers, the leading podcast in the Fantasy Football community.
To say we’re excited is an understatement. For me, particularly, I will be covering the weekly NFL DFS game by game breakdowns, starting with this one here. I will run through each and every game on the schedule for the week and summarize each team’s outlook and who makes for a viable play.
These articles will be geared towards DFS and will apply to every slate, as games on Thursday, Sunday and Monday will be covered. It will also offer valuable insight if you are looking for advice on start/sit dilemmas on your season-long rosters.
Without further ado, let’s get to the FIRST NFL DFS game by game breakdown of the 2019 season.
