NFL DraftKings: Quarterbacks

Jameis Winston $6,600 49ers @ Buccaneers 

Players from this game are going to carry high ownership and with good reason. While Jimmy Garoppolo is a fine play, Winston is the quarterback from this game that you’re going to want in your lineups come Sunday. Somewhat overlooked is the fact that Winston was an astoundingly better quarterback at home than on the road in 2018. In five home games last season, Winston averaged 25.82 DraftKings points per game as opposed to only 16.45 DraftKings points per game in six road starts. He is going to feast on the 49ers’ defense as if he were at an all you can eat seafood buffet.

Lamar Jackson $6,000 Ravens @ Dolphins

I’ve seen a few people speculate that Lamar Jackson’s ceiling in this game might not be that high because the Ravens are huge favorites over a terrible Dolphins team. That makes zero sense. There’s no other quarterback in the universe who is less dependant on passing numbers to pile up big time fantasy points. Also if you’re one for narratives, does the fact that Lamar Jackson grew up in Pompano Beach, Florida, just 25 miles North of where the Dolphins play do anything for you?
