College football betting results against the spread week 1 2019

We got the college football betting season started off with 46 FBS vs. FBS games between week 0 and week 1. How many of those 46 did I get right? Better yet, how about those ever elusive betting points? We can miss most but as long as we get the big ones right, we still come out ahead. Was that my fate?

I only got half of my ESPN college pick em picks right, but the 8-10 pointers were good. Usually when I do poorly in pick em, it doesn’t mean good things for my spread picks.

Here we will recap my picks against the spread. The winner against the spread will be in BOLD. My result will follow. Let’s get to it!

In case you want to follow along:
Thursday-Friday
Saturday

First, the week 0 picks:

Miami(FL)  vs. Florida(-7.5) at Orlando: MISS! One team put up a fight. The other didn’t. Feleipe Franks was back to his old turnovering ways. The Turnover Chain was out in full force for the Canes, and truth be told, they should have won this game. Except the officials didn’t want them to.

The officiating in this game was an embarrassment. There were several blatant misses, and all of them went against Miami. I feel bad for Miami. This is a game they really should have won. They outplayed Florida by a large margin.

Arizona(-10.5) at Hawaii: MISS! This was a huge win for the Warriors. This offense is going to be fun to watch so long as you stay up late enough to watch it. Take it from me: that’s what DVR’s are for!
