DraftKings CFB wide receiver picks September 6

Top Tier:

Sage Surratt was a monster in the opener against Utah State. Considering that even Army threw a passing touchdown against Rice, I’m all in on Surratt here. I really want to pair him with Newman at least once.

Brandon Aiyuk made the biggest splash of the Sun Devil receivers and would be the one I would turn to if pairing any of them with Daniels. Aiyuk is the big play guy, and many of those will be for the taking against Sacramento State.

Middle Tier:

Pierre Williams is an interesting play. He’s not going for three TD’s against Sparky, but he should still be the top target of a team that is going to have to throw the ball to keep up.

Both Khalil Shakir and CT Thomas had a ton more targets than John Hightower. I used Hightower several times last year for value, but he is no longer value priced and is very obviously down in the pecking order. Save your money and use Shakir or Thomas.

If you think that Rice’s offense is going to throw to keep up with Wake you absolutely need Austin Trammell. Trammell only caught four passes against Army, but the rest of the team caught two combined. If Rice throws, it’s going to be to Trammell.

I kind of want to use Surratt, Scotty Washington and Kendall Hinton here. Wake throws enough that all three of them could put up massive numbers.

Bargain Shoppers:

Dumpster diving at WR tonight is pretty difficult. Marshall spreads the ball around quite a lot, which makes it hard to rely on any one player. Talik Keaton is the one that stands out the most to me. He’s tall for a slot receiver which should leave plenty of matchup problems.
