Cable devotee’s guide to fall TV: Broadcast TV schedule

STUMPTOWN - Based on the "Stumptown" graphic novel series, "Stumptown" follows Dex Parios (Cobie Smulders) - a strong, assertive and sharp-witted army veteran with a complicated love life, gambling debt and a brother to take care of in Portland, Oregon. Her military intelligence skills make her a great PI, but her unapologetic style puts her in the firing line of hardcore criminals and not quite in alliance with the police. Are you one of the cable devotees who refuses to cut the cord? If that’s you, here’s the complete breakdown of network TV’s fall schedule.

All five of the broadcast networks have lifted the cover off of their 2019-20 schedules, mainly so that advertisers can get a head start on how to advertise around the network’s revamped primetime lineups. Fox and The CW took revamped their primetime schedules, and they’ll look subtly different this season, while ABC (TGIT), CBS (Procedural Tuesdays), and NBC (Chicago Wednesdays) were more careful to not disturb the lineup blocks that have made a name for themselves.

So, for the cable devotee who has resisted the urge to cut the cord (or for those who have and still enjoy streaming live TV), here’s the complete fall TV schedule, keeping you in the loop as to when your favorite show will be on the tube.

Monday

NBC is rolling the dice with its juggernaut, The Voice. But ABC, CBS, and FOX could give the show a run for its money with Dancing with the Stars, Bull, and the up-and-coming 9-1-1, respectively.
