9. Xavier

  • Venue: Cintas Center
  • Location: Cincinnati, OH
  • Opened: 11/18/00
  • Capacity: 10,224
  • Home Record Since 2000: 253-37 (.872 Winning Percentage)

This may be one of the newest venues on our list, but the Cintas Center has allowed the Xavier Musketeers to develop one hell of an environment for opposing teams. The arena was built in 2000 thanks to plenty of private donations to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Xavier, and the basketball team quickly grew to love its new digs.

Located right at the heart of campus, Cintas Center has become a terrorizing venue for opposing teams. Xavier dominated the opposition at the building as a member of the A-10 for years, including a perfect 15-0 season during the 2009-2010 campaign.

All of that success caught the attention of the Big East, which extended an invitation to Xavier when the league reformed as a basketball-centric conference in 2013. The Musketeers continued to win at home at a prodigious clip, a sign of how tough the Cintas Center is to play in for visitors.

It remains to be seen if the Cintas Center will continue to rank as an elite home-court advantage in the future, but the results speak for themselves right now.
