DraftKings showdown slate – New York Jets vs Cleveland Browns: Flex

Baker Mayfield – $11,200

After an abysmal performance against the Titans, Mayfield looks to bounce back against a depleted Jets defense in what should be a favorable matchup. While I will only have some shares of him as my Captain, I will have Mayfield in several lineups as one of my flex plays this week.

Jarvis Landry – $9,000

With Beckham having such high ownership on this slate, it will be smart to incorporate a couple of lineups with a Baker / Landry or Baker / Higgins stack to limit your exposure to the highest-priced player on the slate that could easily turn in a 5-for-54 stat line, sinking your lineup.

Jamison Crowder – $ 8,000

Mr. PPR himself should see a ton of volume again this week even with Darnold being out with Mono. This Jets team funnels targets to its slot receivers and that should only continue with their backup taking over tomorrow night. While his Ceiling is not very high, he has a great floor for this type of slate in which you need 10-15 points per player to be in the mix should your Captain explode.

DraftKings showdown slate – New York Jets vs Cleveland Browns: Cheap Options

Rashard Higgins – $4,200

The connection between Higgins and Mayfield was on full display throughout training camp. The translation was that he only saw 44% of snaps while Landry and Beckham saw 100% of snaps. He is still the third receiver in what should be a good passing attack this season making him viable in some of your lineups tomorrow night.

Ty Montgomery – $1,600

With Le’Veon Bell missing practice with a banged up shoulder there is a chance that they work Montgomery in more this week after only seeing 7% of snaps last week. I am more inclined to taking defenses and kickers in the 2-4k range but will have some Montgomery in case Bell is on a workload restriction.
