Here is the information you need for the Sept. 16, 2019 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw.

After a wild WWE Clash of Champions event, Monday Night Raw heads to Knoxville to clear up the fallout from the last 24 hours. And there are some new champions to celebrate when Raw goes live.

Kicking off the pay-per-view was Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman, defending the Raw Tag Team Championships against the recently formed duo of Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler. The champions may have been looking ahead to their meeting later in the night for Rollins’ Universal Championship because they would lose the tag titles in a shocking upset.

But in reality, the loss let the two focus on their title match later in the night. In the main event, Rollins would survive the Monster Among Men and retained the Universal Championship. However, after the match, The Fiend would make his presence felt in a big way. He attacked Rollins after the match and left him in a beaten heap in the middle of the ring. The question now, is why did he attack now? Hopefully, we’ll get answers on Monday night.

Becky Lynch is still your Raw Women’s Champion. Following a brutal encounter with Sasha Banks, and a battle that raged all over the arena, the two beat each other senseless. Banks tried to use a chair on the champion, but the referee grabbed it. Lynch got her hands on the chair but inadvertently hit the ref when Banks moved out of the way. It earned the champion an automatic disqualification, but she didn’t care. She would continue her assault on Banks, locking in her Dis-arm-her submission while having Banks’ arm wrapped through the chair.  Emerging with the title intact, what is next for The Man?

Also on tap for Monday night will be the finals of the 2019 WWE King of the Ring Tournament. Chad Gable will face off against Baron Corbin to crown the newest addition to the legendary King of the Ring roster. Who will join the ranks of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Triple H, Booker T and the Hart Brothers as WWE royalty?

In addition to all of this, you’re going to start hearing about the upcoming WWE Draft. It’ll be a two-night event that takes place in mid-October. As the landscape shifts towards the Hell In A Cell event, a lot of new questions will now shape because of this news. Thankfully, it appears the Wild Card rule may be coming to an end.
