College football Week 4 offers up some huge matchups in the top 20 but are any of those games part of the best bets of the week?

While excitement developed last week throughout the college football landscape, it’s fair to say that the anticipation levels heading into the week were quite low. With no ranked teams playing one another, there simply wasn’t a lot for fans to look forward to. As we prepare to kick off Week 4, though, that is no longer the case.

The slate of games for Week 4 is loaded with huge college football matchups that are good bets to be great games. No question, the week of games is headlined by the No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish traveling to Athens to face the No. 3 ranked Georgia Bulldogs. This matchup has legitimate College Football Playoff implications and should be a nail-biter from start to finish.

It’s not just that matchup on the docket, though.

College football fans will also be treated to No. 17 ranked Texas A&M hosting Auburn, the No. 8 team in the country, at Kyle Field. And if that wasn’t good enough, the Big Ten offers up a critical matchup between No. 11 Michigan and No. 13 Wisconsin.

Talk about a loaded day of high-quality games.

While these might be safe bets to be great games with big-time implications, though, when you look at the odds for these games and how closely matched these teams are, it’s hard to call any of the good bets in terms of where to wager your money in college football Week 4. In fact, your best bet in regards to these marquee games would be staying away from them.

But have no fear. Even if they aren’t matchups between ranked teams, there are plenty of points spreads and over/under lines that should pique your interest on Friday and Saturday.

These are your best bets to bank on in Week 4 of the 2019 college football season.
