With a full week of UCL and Europa League complete, we turn our focus back to EPL DFS this weekend and the main slate on Saturday.  We only have a small-ish four game main slate, but there’s still tons of fantasy goodness to cover in this week’s EPL DFS Breakdown.

With other competitions beginning and teams playing midweek games, expect there to be a little more rotation of starters which always opens up some value plays for us.  Predictably, Manchester City (-2.5) takes the spot as largest favorites at home against Watford.  They got beat 3-2 last weekend by Norwich, but they bounced back with a 3-0 win in a tough matchup away to Shakhtar on Wednesday.  The goal total is a slate-high 4.0.  City will be very popular on Saturday.

Our next favorite is Everton (-1.0) at home against Sheffield United.  Both teams are coming off draws last weekend.  Sheffield United have yet to win on the road in the EPL this year, but they have two ties.  Everton isn’t usually the easiest team to figure out from a fantasy perspective, but they’ll be worth a look on Saturday in this game that has a decent goal total of 2.5.

Burnley (-0.5) are small favorites at home against Norwich.  The goal total for this game is good at 3.0.  With Norwich’s ability to score and Burnley playing at home against Norwich’s poor defense, this game makes for a good pivot off City chalk.  The final game on the slate is Newcastle (-0.5) hosting Brighton, where the goal total is low at 2.0.  This game doesn’t make a ton of sense fantasy-wise aside from a few select plays.
