Late DraftKings college football quarterback picks September 21

Top Tier:

UCLA’s defense is improving, but they still wont be able to handle Washington State. Anthony Gordon threw for 440 on Houston. Gordon has thrown for more than 400 yards in every game and should here as well. Yes, even if it turns into a blowout. Gordon still had 39.1 DraftKings points and 420 yards against New Mexico State in a 58-7 rout.

I like both Jordan Love and Steven Montez, but they both have tough matchups. There’s no need to take chances with them when we have so many better options waiting below.

Middle Tier:

Jorge Reyna has had some issues with interceptions, but he is still right around 25 DraftKings points per game. That number should go up against Sacramento State and DraftKings didn’t really jack up the price. Reyna is a strong compliment to Gordon.

This Arizona State offense has had some trouble scoring points, but they wont against Colorado. True freshman Jayden Daniels only has three touchdowns through three games, but he hasn’t turned the ball over yet. He’s a solid play because he doesn’t do things to lose you points. Daniels is also a decent runner and can poach a few points that way.

Bargain Shoppers:

Nebraska transfer Patrick O’Brien was strong against Arkansas after Collin Hill tore his ACL again in the loss in Fayetteville. You can’t really blame O’Brien for losing that lead. He completed seven of ten passes without turning it over. The Toledo defense will be easier for O’Brien to navigate. He should have a nice first start in Fort Collins at a very low price.

Ryan Agnew is the definition of game manager, especially since San Diego State runs the ball so much. He has very little upside, but Agnew doesn’t make a lot of mistakes and the Utah State pass defense is their weakness. Agnew could have his best game of the year. That may still leave him a touch shy of 20 DraftKings points, but name anyone else at the superflex that can give you that production for that price.
