4. Los Angeles Dodgers

As if the Dodgers aren’t good enough to start with, having won seven straight NL West titles now, they also have the third-best farm system in baseball (via MLB.com). They aren’t afraid to spend or take on money, but a look to 2021, the first year of a likely new deal for Betts, their payroll commitment drops ($80.625 million on 19 players right now).

Putting Betts (26 years old) in the same outfield with Cody Bellinger (25 next July) has to have some appeal to the Dodgers, and it would be the envy of everyone as they could both play any of the three spots based on how other pieces may fit.

With that ongoing, seemingly endless pipeline of high-level young talent to trade from, and some major league pieces they could part with, the Dodgers can put together an enviable and substantial offer for Betts.
