The hit FOX drama 9-1-1 returns for season 3 with “Kids Today.” Here’s what you need to know to watch the season premiere on TV and online.
9-1-1 is back for season 3 and things are starting off with a bang as previews for the new season reveal a tsunami — yes, a tsunami! — heading for the Santa Monica Pier. The season premiere is full of action in what’s sure to be the biggest season of all for the team of first responders.
It almost seems like the team of Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear enjoy torturing Los Angeles. From massive earthquakes to firestorms and just about everything in between (even a massive shark chomping on a man’s arm on dry land), they have really subjected the City of Angels to just about every kind of disaster you can imagine. This season the city will have to deal with a tsunami.
But before we get to all of that, we have to check in with the team. Buck is still coping with his injuries while Maddie and Chimney settle into life as a couple. Bobby and Athena are now happily married, but not even marital bliss will keep them safe from the trials and tribulations of life as first responders.
9-1-1 is at its best when the team is working together and after everything they have been through, the team is stronger than ever before.
