DraftKings Monday Night Football Week 3 Showdown: Flex

Tarik Cohen – $10,200

His usage in the running game is non-existent, which really dampens his fantasy upside. He is the primary slot receiver for a Bears offense that is currently struggling to find its identity. They currently have multiple receivers that fit the same skill set which is part of the reason for this offensive struggle early on. He is no more than a flex play for me as he simply doesn’t see enough volume at this moment.

Chris Thompson – $7,400

This team is likely to be trailing for the majority of this game adding value to one of its best pass catchers. While I thought about adding him as a Captain pick for 5% of your lineups, he is best suited for your flex positions. While I am looking to own as little as possible of this Redskins team, Thompson is a great drawback play, as he should be on the field on most downs as they will likely be one dimensional trailing in this game.

Trey Burton – $6,000

Another player that doesn’t see consistent enough volume is Trey Burton. He has been limited for several weeks now with a groin injury and is someone you must-have in your Bear pass-catching player pool. I will be spreading out my ownership between Cohen, Burton, Miller and Gabriel this week with anyone’s guess to who will get targets between them.

Trey Quinn – $3,800

Death by a thousand paper-cuts is how Quinn will operate tomorrow night. In what is a very difficult matchup, Quinn has the best chance to win out of the slot. While I do not think he will break the slate, he has that 8-15 point PPR range that we are looking for in a low scoring slate.

DraftKings Monday Night Football Week 3 Showdown: Cheap Options

Cordarrelle Patterson – $2,400

The speedster out of Tennessee will always make my cheap options column. Am I bias? Maybe, but he is the ultimate Swiss army knife for a team that needs explosive plays. Head Coach Matt Naggy mentioned last week that he has to get him more involved in the game plan as both a pass catcher and a runner. That is enough for me to fire up CP in my flex tomorrow night and for the rest of the season.

Mike Davis – $1,800

He is simply too cheap for a guy that saw 50% of the rushing workload just two weeks ago. I would be stunned if he was not on the winning roster tomorrow night in some fashion. I will have some shares of Davis in my flex as he is one of the best values on the slate.

Steven Sims Jr – $200

This is the best value on the slate as Jay Gruden has gushed about Sims all pre-season. While he is likely only to see a couple of reverses and a target or two at $200 he just needs one touch to pay off his value.
