Here’s how you can watch The Conners season 2 premiere on ABC live online or the old-fashioned way right on your television.

The Conners’ season 2 premiere episode “Preemies, Weed and Infidelity” airs tonight on ABC primetime starting at 8 p.m. EST.

According to TVByTheNumbers, last season’s finale scored a 7.74 rating for live viewers. While the show mostly hovered around between mid-6s to a 7 rating each week, that was post-Roseanne, when her departure from her own series was still fresh. Now, the dust has settled and the news cycle about it is mostly over.

It’ll be telling what the real numbers for a sitcom sans its lead character are for a second season. This time around, there won’t be casual curiosity like before. It’ll mostly be John Goodman fans and diehards of the original series who want to see how their favorite characters ended up.

Here’s the episode description for “Preemies, Weed and Infidelity”:

"In the wake of Emilio’s deportation, Jackie steps into the role of a paternal figure and creates a meticulous birth plan for Becky; Darlene is tangled in a complex love triangle with David and Ben; Harris is caught up in a problem of her own."

In the preview trailer below, Becky gives birth, bringing a new Conner into this world. But a situation with the father of Becky’s child might leave her a single mother unintentionally. Meanwhile, Darlene is caught between her old love and father of her children, David, and her new love and employer, Ben. Will she go back to her old habits or continue the new chapter of her life?

Last season of The Conners saw Dan struggling to live day-to-day without Roseanne. Will Becky’s baby distract Dan from his pain and give him a new lease on life temporarily?
