Fantasy football lineup advice: Week 4 BOOM or BUST!

We did a splendid job with Week 3’s fantasy football lineup advice, with the two biggest “BOOM” performances coming from Cooper Kupp against a watered-down Browns secondary and Greg Olsen, who continued to turn back the clock in a multi-touchdown effort. TB12 once again played at an elite level against the division-rival Jets in his age-42 season in a game where he could’ve put up even bigger numbers if not for a blowout. The only “BOOM” we really missed on was rookie sensation Marquise Brown, who was surprisingly bottled-up by the Chiefs.

As far as the “BUST” picks went, each were limited, but some turned in enough points to get the job done for owners. Baker Mayfield was yet again uninspiring as he threw a game-sealing interception late in the fourth to drop the Browns to 1-2. Josh Jacobs also struggled to get much going as the Raiders turned to pass-catching back Jalen Richard in comeback mode, while D.K. Metcalf was predictably blanketed by Saints’ corner Marshon Lattimore.

"DISCLAIMER: “BOOM or BUST” isn’t exactly a “Start or Sit” column. I identify and provide analysis for players who aren’t a top-tier starting option that I believe will exceed expectations – and also those who will fail to meet them. It should be remembered that these picks are done at the beginning of the week, so better options may surface as the week progresses and we get a better idea on various injuries and player situations. Use your best judgement and keep tabs on news updates around the league up until kickoff on Sunday… Without further ado, let’s dive right into this week’s matchups!"
