Fantasy football picks: Week 4 TNF Eagles vs. Packers

Zach Ertz – This Green Bay defense has been amazing so far. Some thought that the presence of Dallas Godert would have an effect on the snap count for Ertz. This was obviously not the case, considering Ertz has been logging well over 90% of the snaps in every game this year. This has resulted in 30 total targets, at least 50 yards in each game, but no touchdowns.

Alshon is going to play, but that shouldn’t have much of an impact on Ertz, who has had plenty of volume regardless. My thought process behind Zach is that if the defense focuses on the wide receivers, he will have some chances to sneak into the end-zone and get his first score.

Carson Wentz – I would like to mention Wentz for one of those occasions where we have actually gotten two good quarterbacks on the same single-game slate. As mentioned the Green Bay defense has been rock solid, but in GPP’s I do not mind Wentz. As usual, Philly has been a very heavy passing offense, and Carson is averaging around 40 attempts per game.

He has seven touchdowns, on two interceptions, and has scored no less than twenty FanDuel points in a game yet. Even with a receiving corp that was filled with all backup players last week, he still had a solid performance.  I will talk a little more about this play in the game theory section, and how exactly I would put him in a lineup.
