Fantasy football picks: Week 4 TNF Eagles vs. Packers

Game theory is something that I have had to really work on going into this season, and it really takes your game to the next level once you start to get the hang of it. With single-game slates, game theory is a little bit different due to the 1.5x MVP point slot. Usually, this spot is used for the most popular play on the slate, which is normally a quarterback. However, I will tell you a little secret, very rarely do chalk MVP quarterbacks win you a single game tourney.

I think that game theory is going to be interesting for this single game slate. I’m assuming the popular approach will be Rodgers in the bonus, Adams, somebody like Agholor as a mid-range play, a kicker, and another punt play. That would be the optimal cash game build most people will have.

A good way to manipulate that lineup, but still have a cash type build, would be to swap Rodgers for Adams as the MVP. Either way would be cash viable, but you could stand out slightly more with Adams as the MVP. For GPP builds, I really like playing both quarterbacks, Adams and two pure punts such as Hollins and Graham. You can get weird with the bonus spot and plus in Wentz, or an Eagles receiver.
