NFL DFS: Jacksonville Jaguars @ Denver Broncos

Jacksonville Jaguars

There’s a handful of teams every week that I have little to no interest in. I touched briefly on the Bears, but I have almost less interest in the Jags on a full slate. The only reason any of them were in consideration last week was because they were on a Showdown slate. Move along.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos came up short against Green Bay, but they have a good shot at getting back in the W column this week against the Jags. Phillip Lindsay recorded a season-high 25 touches last week and turned that into 29 PPR points on the back of a pair of tough TD runs. It’s a rather even timeshare between him and Royce Freeman, but if Lindsay can build on his 56% snap share as Denver rides the hot hand, he could have some value on DraftKings, especially seeing that he’s the better pass-catcher.

Outside of Lindsay in a GPP, it’s hard to love anyone else on Denver. Emmanuel Sanders has been limited at practice, which would leave a vacated 22.52% target share to get distributed amongst the offense. Courtland Sutton would be the primary beneficiary, but if Jalen Ramsey is active, I’d recommend staying away. If he’s to miss this game for one of his numerous reasons given throughout the week, he’d have some large-field GPP appeal.

If Sanders is active, however, that would knock Sutton’s appeal and in turn, insert some GPP-appeal for Sanders on DraftKings as he posted 20+ DraftKings points in weeks 1 and 2 before the dud in Green Bay.
