With the NFL approaching the quarter-pole of the regular season, we’re starting to decipher who the contenders and pretenders are.

All odds courtesy of OddsShark.

Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers (-5)

The Eagles (1-2) are a bit healthier than they were Sunday, but the Packers 93-0) present a tall order. Aaron Rodgers, on the road, in a short week. Now ideal for Philadelphia, which desperately needs to win.

Pick: Green Bay 23, Philadelphia 20

Carolina Panthers at Houston Texans (-4)

Kyle Allen threw four touchdowns in his pro debut for the Panthers (1-2). Still, beating the Texans (2-1) is much tougher than handling Arizona. Provided Deshaun Watson isn’t sacked 37 times by halftime, Houston should be in good shape.

Pick: Houston 30, Carolina 19

Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens (-7)

Why would anybody pick the Browns (1-2) in this game? Baltimore (2-1) has played significantly better to this point, is at home, and has a far superior head coach. Freddie Kitchens looks lost, and until he figures out a forward pass is allowed to travel more than four feet, Cleveland is in trouble.

Pick: Baltimore 22, Cleveland 16

Kansas City Chiefs (-6) at Detroit Lions

The Chiefs (3-0) look unstoppable, at least offensively. Baltimore has a terrific defense and Patrick Mahomes led the way to more than 500 yards. The Lions (2-0-1) will get their points, but keeping up with Kansas City’s aerial circus is almost impossible.

Pick: Kansas City 44, Detroit 24
