While the performances haven’t been quite as bad as the score-lines may suggest, the pressure on head coach Marco Silva is nonetheless growing.
Such has been Manchester City’s dominance in recent years that their shock 3-2 away defeat to Norwich was enough to spark talk of a crisis. That was quickly dispelled by a routine away win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League and an 8-0 thrashing of Watford.
