Fantasy Football 2019 Week 4 Streaming Options
By Bill Pivetz
Fantasy football owners are looking for last-minute replacements for their week 4 matchup with the waiver period past and final injury reports out.
It’s already week 4 of the fantasy football season. Bye weeks are underway and injuries are piling up. We had the Thursday game already, so there are a lot of players unavailable to you, unless you started some of them. If you need a last-minute replacement, I am your hookup for every postion.
The 49ers and Jets are on bye, so that eliminates Jimmy Garoppolo, Raheem Mostert, Deebo Samuel, Le’Veon Bell and both team’s defenses. Cam Newton and Damien Williams have been ruled out for this week, T.Y. Hilton is doubtful, Matthew Stafford is questionable. The point is, a lot of players are not playing this week.
If you play in deep leagues, the number of available players is more shallow than for those in 10 and 12-team leagues. With just over a day left before the early Sunday afternoon games start, finding a replacement is going to be difficult.

For this piece, I will list one quarterback, one running back, one wide receiver and one defense for streaming purposes this week. They will be owned in less than 40 percent of ESPN leagues, making them available to the majority of fantasy football owners.
Case Keenum, @NYG
Keenum was under pressure all game against the Bears in week 3. He still threw for over 300 yards and two touchdowns. Coming up against a division rival, Keenum will likely be hit a lot less in this game.
He may be without top receiver Terry McLaurin, but with Chris Thompson and Vernon Davis, Keenum should still be able to pick apart the Giants defense. We saw what happened when they played the Bucs.
Darrel Williams, @DET
The Chiefs have their top two running backs banged up. The other Williams is out and LeSean McCoy dealt with an ankle injury. The latter is expected to start but Williams should still see some touches.
In the shoutout against the Ravens last week, Williams filled in and racked up 109 yards on 14 touches. The Lions defense are ranked 28th against the run, allowing just under 27 points per game to running backs.
Andy Reid likes to run the ball and could abandon the pass early if and when the Chiefs get up big.
Randall Cobb, @NO
With Michael Gallup out, many thought that Cobb’s production would increase. Unfortunately, that was not the case. He caught just two of four targets for 23 yards. His value has dropped significantly since his week 1, 16.9-point game.
However, the Saints, even with Teddy Bridgewater under center, are still a high-powered offense. If the Cowboys are going to keep up, they need to get Cobb more involved. Dallas likes using a two-TE set with Jason Witten and Blake Jarwin, so Cobb is a flex play at best.
Colts D/ST, vs OAK
While their track record so far this season doesn’t help their case, the Colts defense against a questionable Raiders offense is my top streaming pick. They had four sacks in each of their first two games, along with two combined interceptions and a fumble recovery.
The Raiders offense is missing firepower at any of the skill positions. Darren Waller may be their best option. If the Colts can shut him down, Derek Carr will either have to look to his second or third options or the Raiders will be running the ball every play.
These players are not consistent enough to start on a weekly basis but as a injury replacement or bye-week fill in, they could help your team in a bind. Good luck this week and continue to check out FanSided Fantasy throughout the season.
