NFL DFS Week 4: Cash game breakdown
NFL DFS Week 4: Fantasy football cash game breakdown
Terry McLaurin – FanDuel $6300 DraftKings $4500
What an amazing start to the year the Buckeye alum has had so far! He’s about as consistent as they come considering he set a record for having a touchdown and 5 catches in each of his first three games so far and granted the sample size is small but that gives us an excellent floor in cash games. He also gets the Giants in what is clearly a juicy game to target based on price and potential scoring opportunities on both sides of the ball. Something to watch for is that Terry did not practice today (Friday) which is typically not a good sign going into the weekend. There was a report that came out saying he tweaked or had a slight pull in his hamstring which is obviously bad news but that same report is saying he expects to play on Sunday. Certainly a situation to monitor as he was the absolute chalk highest owned receiver just a bit earlier this week.
Keenan Allen – FanDuel $8100 DraftKings $7600
The same reasoning I was stating for Ekeler applies here as well but perhaps even more so. Both Mike Williams and Travis Benjamin are out (as is Justin Jackson). If the Chargers are going to get anywhere near their highest implied team total and meet the spread Vegas has currently, they’re presumably going to use Keenan Allen to get there. He is leading the league right now in targets and catches per game and not to mention he’s second in the league with over 130 yards a game as well. That’s just ludicrous that he isn’t always the highest priced wide receiver by a large margin every slate. I think he’s going to be incredibly chalky on DraftKings so be aware when you’re building your lineups there. He should see plenty of play on FanDuel as well.
Cooper Kupp – FanDuel $7000 DraftKings $6500
I want to start off by saying he will not be chalk. I don’t expect him to see much ownership despite eviscerating the Browns last Monday night. He does have a very stable floor though and a very high ceiling with him being Goff’s favorite target and Gurley not really catching any passes this year. Tampa Bay isn’t too terrible on defense but they look a bit skewed because the Giants tore them up last week. I think Kupp can do really well in this game and he’s hauling in 7 catches a game which is great. He can be deadly after the catch even though his routes aren’t typically deep bombs. I’m still back and forth on having him on my main cash lineup but not because he isn’t safe – it’s just a matter of build strategy and where I want to pay down.
