Wendy’s built a location on a boat outside Husky Stadium and it’s spectacular
Wendy’s and college football is a winning combination and if you’re at Washington for the USC game, you can get some spicy nuggets.
Wendy’s made a big move in the fast food power rankings this weekend with a new location for fans to get their fix of cheeseburgers and their famous spicy nuggets. In Husky Harbor where sailgating is the norm for Washington football games, fans can sail up to the little boat and get some spicy nuggs.
This is the future and I’m glad to be alive during this time of innovation. Why aren’t there more fast food restaurants in large bodies of water? It seems like a wasted opportunity to me. Just think how many times you’ve been sailing and had a hankering for a doublestack or junior bacon cheeseburger. If only there was a Wendy’s nearby to get your fix.
For the lucky fans in Seattle for the Washington game vs. USC on Saturday afternoon, they are in luck and will have a story to tell all their friends when they get home about the Husky Harbor location.

This reminds me of the time on The Simpsons when Homer, Bart, Ned and Rod were stranded on a raft in the middle of nowhere with only a Swiss army knife. It was only because Homer could smell the burgers at the nearby Krusty Burger on an unmanned oil rig were they saved.
Think of the recruiting advantages this will have for Washington. If you’re a recruit and thinking of the Huskies or another program that doesn’t have a Wendy’s on a boat near campus, isn’t the decision an easy one?
You go to school with the boat Wendy’s.
What a time to be alive. Bless you, Wendy’s.
