DraftKings Showdown: Flex

Dak Prescott – $11,200

The Cowboys signal caller has been on fire to start the season with 23, 28 and 36 fantasy points. With what should be a more competitive game against a tough Saints team on the road, I would look for Prescott to be one of the higher scoring players on this slate. I will have shares of Prescott in the majority of my lineups including some in Captain.

Randall Cobb – $7,000

The Saints are atrocious at defending slot receivers. So far this year, they are allowing just over six receptions on roughly nine targets and 21 fantasy points according to fantasy league collective. Randall Cobb is currently running 82.7% of routes out of the slot making his match-up against PJ Williams very tasty. He is by no means a lock button on this slate, but is someone who should be in your player pool.

Jason Witten – $5,800

The future Hall of Famer out of the University of Tennessee always seems to find his way on the stat sheet. Having scored in two of the first three games, Witten is always a threat in the red-zone.

While his down the field play making ability is all but gone, he still knows how to get open and provides Dak with that security blanket that he can trust. You would be a fool to not have some shares of Witten in primetime.

Devin Smith – $5,200

In the first game without Michael Gallup, the Cowboys turned to Devin Smith as he played on 92% of snaps last week. At $5200 he is the best value in terms of snaps played on the slate. I would anticipate another high snap count for Smith as he plays outside along with Amari Cooper making him one of my higher owned plays in the flex.
