Manchester United’s recent form has been far from dazzling. A draw with ten-man Southampton was followed by a late, narrow home win over Kazakhstan side FC Astana in the Europa League. Arsenal certainly seem to be the form team in this encounter. Their last three games have seen them earn an impressive 0-3 away win over a good Eintracht Frankfurt side in the Europa League, a remarkable comeback victory over Aston Villa despite Arsenal being down to ten men for more than half the match, and then a 5-0 trouncing of Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
