It’s the beginning of October and the second quarter of the season. Here are the dates, times and TV schedule for the fifth week of NFL action.
It’s been an interesting start to the league’s 100th season. Week 4 saw a few teams suffer their first loss of 2019 while a couple of AFC powerhouses remained perfect. The defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs ran their records to 4-0 while teams like the Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins remained winless and in big-time trouble.
And the conclusion of the NFL quarter pole comes on Monday night in a battle of winless teams between the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field.
For the second consecutive week, two teams won’t be playing football as the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins take some time off.
