22. Daniel Jones (LW: 25)

Jones got away with three would-be interceptions in Tampa. He wasn’t as lucky this week, tossing two against the Redskins. Still, Jones showed why Big Blue faithful should be excited. He consistently made throws to all portions of the field, used his athleticism and was mostly accurate. Lots to like.

21. Marcus Mariota (LW: 24)

Mariota played one of his better games on Sunday, putting the Titans up 24-7 against Atlanta before coasting to a two-touchdown victory. On the season, Mariota has 933 yards with seven touchdowns and no interceptions. That stat line is a bit misleading (go back and watch the Jacksonville debacle) but Sunday was a nice step in the right direction.

20. Derek Carr (LW: 21)

Carr plays safe football, but he’s doing enough to keep the Raiders afloat in the jagged AFC. On Sunday, Oakland upset the Colts with Carr completing 21-of-31 for 189 yards with two touchdowns and no turnovers. Again, safe football.

19. Kirk Cousins (LW: 16)

Cousins has been awful this season. He’s dropping each week and will continue to do so unless things change drastically. Through four games, the $84 million man has 735 passing yards with three touchdowns. Jimmy Garoppolo has thrown for more yardage, and the 49ers had a bye this week.

18. Gardner Minshew (LW: 22)

Minshew is flying up the rankings. There’s no reason not to love what we’re seeing from the rookie sixth-rounder. Minshew can make all the throws, he plays with poise, he wins off-schedule and from the pocket, and most importantly, he is getting the job done. The kid is on pace for 4,000 yards and 28 touchdowns. Good luck to Nick Foles getting his job back.
