Trevon Diggs. 21. player. 53. . Cornerback. Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns pulled off a huge divisional victory this past weekend, beating the first plce Baltimore Ravens pretty easily. Baker Mayfield continues his ascension to being one of the better clutch quarterbacks in the NFL, giving the Browns a true leader at the quarterback position, and someone they can build the franchise around.

Looking at this team as a whole, there are some weaknesses, including in the defensive backfield at cornerback. While Denzel Ward is one of the better young cornerbacks in the league, the Browns should once again use a first round pick on the position group, bringing in Trevon Diggs from Alabama.

Diggs is the brother of Minnesota Vikings star wideout Stefon Diggs, and comes with an NFL pedigree that should make him an instant impact player on day one at the next level. The Browns have the talent on both sides of the ball to be a Super Bowl contender in the coming years, but they need to continue to stack young talent over the next few drafts.

13. . Offensive Tackle. Los Angeles Chargers. Trey Smith. 22. player

The Los Angeles Chargers got back in the win column on Sunday, as they defeated a Miami Dolphins team that probably couldn’t beat Alabama right now. The Chargers have the explosive playmakers on both sides of the ball to be a player in the AFC West, but like the rest of the division, they are looking up at the Kansas City Chiefs.

In all fairness to the Chargers, they have suffered some terrible injuries this season, including losing starting left tackle Russell Okung. With their first round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Chargers should look to bring in an offensive tackle, and Trey Smith from Tennessee should be one of the first players off the board at his position.

Quarterback Philip Rivers is still going to play well enough to win you games, and once Melvin Gordon gets healthy, they should have a solid duo at running back with Austin Ekeler. The loss of Derwin James in the secondary could prove huge in a pass-happy AFC West, but I expect the Chargers to at least make the playoffs this season.
