The debut episode of AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite on TNT goes down tonight and there is a lot to digest going in.

All Elite Wrestling has a gigantic amount of hype heading into their live debut on TNT. Every eye in the wrestling industry is watching the much-anticipated premiere episode of Dynamite and AEW seems to be well aware of this and has stacked this show to the gills.

Cody will be taking on Sammy Guevara in a match that will have major implications to the main event of the next AEW pay-per-view, Full Gear. If Cody wins he keeps his title shot against AEW World Champion Chris Jericho but if he loses Guevara earns his way into the title match. Fans can assume that Cody will easily win this contest but AEW is going to pull out every trick in their playbook to convince fans that either man can walk away with the win here.

The first AEW Women’s Champion will be crowned as Riho takes on Nyla Rose. Both women earned their way to this title match with big wins at the last pay-per-view, All Out. Rose looks unstoppable going into this match as she has the weight and height advantage but fans need to remember that Riho has a win over Rose from their triple threat match at Fyter Fest.

Hangman Adam Page takes on his rival, and constant thorn in his side, PAC. These two were supposed to meet at Double or Nothing but issues, that have still not been revealed, kept the two from fighting. The two men had a match in England but it was thrown out due to the ref being taken out. Hangman looked to have that match won though, so he will be looking to finally put the nail in the coffin in D.C.

The main event of the debut episode of Dynamite will feature Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks taking on AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and the former LAX (Santana and Ortiz). Jericho’s partners weren’t revealed until last night on the TNT Countdown show where footage was shown of Santana and Ortiz acting friendly and thanking Jericho for his time with AEW.

The Young Bucks will be looking to climb back to the top of the tag division after their latest loss to the Lucha Bros and the arrival of LAX. Omega has been acting very strange and erratic on Being The Elite since his loss to PAC and has been hinting at bringing back his old character, The Cleaner, or a modified version of his former persona. Jericho will be looking to gain a win here no matter what so fans can expect can expect some shady actions from him and his partners if they look to be close to a loss.
