Barcelona face Inter at the Camp Nou on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Lionel Messi may return in what could prove to be an important week for under-pressure Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde, with this marquee Champions League tie being followed by a home game against Sevilla on Sunday.
Although Barca are only two points off the top of La Liga, their away form has been cause for concern lately. They were very fortunate to emerge with a draw from their opening group game in Dortmund, which came in the midst of dreadful domestic away performances against Athletic Bilbao, Osasuna and Granada.
Inter themselves were awful in their Champions League opener against Slavia Prague, but Antonio Conte’s side have looked ominously good in Serie A. Saturday’s 1-3 away win over Sampdoria continued Inter’s 100 percent start to the season.
Romelu Lukaku is injured, so Lautaro Martinez, Matteo Politano and Alexis Sanchez will compete for starts up front here. Inter also have a big weekend ahead of them, as they face the side that they’re trying to usurp, reigning Serie A champions Juventus, on Sunday.
The Champions League match between Barcelona and Inter will be broadcast live on Bleacher Report. Live streaming is available on B/R Live, which you can access with your cable or satellite subscriptions, either online or through the Bleacher Report app.
