Everything you need to know to prepare you for the upcoming edition of WWE NXT for October 2 on the USA Network.

Tonight, whether you want to admit it or not, the Wednesday Night Wars officially begin as WWE NXT goes head-to-head with AEW Dynamite. The black and gold brand has spent the last two weeks building up this card to put on a show worthy of an NXT TakeOver on the USA Network with limited commercial interruption.

Three of the four NXT Championships are on the line tonight and we wouldn’t be surprised if we get at least one title change before the night is over. On top of that, we finally get the first appearance of Johnny Gargano since NXT moved to the USA Network as he will go one-on-one with Shane Thorne. Is there a chance that the winner of this match could be the next in line for a future NXT Championship match? Tune in to find out!

Date: Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019

Time: 8:00 pm

Location: Orlando, Florida

Venue: Full Sail Live

TV Info: USA Network

Live Stream: USA Network app | Watch live on Fubo.TV. Sign up for a free seven-day trial here.

The Velveteen Dream also returns to Full Sail for the first time since losing his NXT North American Championship to Roderick Strong of the Undisputed Era. We would imagine the Dream isn’t going to be a good mood and will be looking for retribution tonight. Will he try to invoke his rematch clause against Strong? If so when? All of these questions should be answered tonight from the Velveteen Experience.

This is the current line up of what we can expect to see this Wednesday night on WWE NXT!

– Adam Cole defends the NXT Championship against Matt Riddle
– Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish defend the NXT Tag Team titles against the Street Profits
– Shayna Baszler defends the NXT Women’s Championship against Candice LeRae
– Johnny Gargano goes one-on-one with Shane Thorne

Many people are calling this the most important week in the history of professional wrestling. We reach the halfway point of said week tonight with NXT (and AEW). Regardless of what side you’re on, all of us wrestling fans win. Enjoy this moment! A moment that most people thought we would never see again is taking place.
