1. John McGinn scores are Aston Villa win at Norwich

Saturday sees two of this season’s promoted clubs go head to head as Norwich host Aston Villa in what should be a very entertaining match. Both sides have played quite well in their opening Premier League matches but struggled to pick up enough points to steer them clear of the relegation zone.

It’s hard to think that these sides won’t be lingering around the drop when it comes to May but this is the kind of game that both sides will think they can win – not something that they will feel all too frequently in the Premier League.

Last season, Norwich did the double over Villa in the Championship and they will look to make it four in a row against the Birmingham club. To do so, they will need to outplay a Villa side that are looking better with every Premier League weekend.

Dean Smith’s side are looking stronger as the season goes on and the likes of John McGinn and Jack Grealish are really making the Birmingham club tick. Norwich have played some nice soccer and had a big result against Manchester City but their style of play leaves them very open.

Aston Villa should like to pay defensively in this game and hit Norwich on the counter. The Canaries could struggle to break Villa down as the Smith’s side will not allow them the space which Manchester City and Newcastle did.

Villa are good at moving the ball from back to front quickly and if they do that this weekend then they will take all three points.

This will be a close game with both sides finding the back of the net. Teemu Pukki will score for Norwich but John McGinn and Wesley will find the net to give Villa an important 2-1 over the Canaries.
