DraftKings EuroLeague Basketball Picks October 4
By Mike Marteny
DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:
The top of forward is loaded. Nikola Milutinov had one of the highest DraftKings points per game averages last season. Will Clyburn was the Final Four MVP for CSKA Moscow, and he’s not even the highest profile guy on the team. That’s Johannes Voigtmann. Clyburn is probably the safer play, but I prefer to avoid that whole thing and stick with Milutinov if spending at forward.
Gustavo Ayon has moved on to St. Petersburg. He went from role player for Real Madrid to unquestioned star for St. Petersburg. I have no issue paying up for him here.

As if Barcelona isn’t loaded enough at forward, they add former Bulls star Nikola Mirotic. They didn’t sign Mirotic to sit around. I expect him to be a factor early and often for Barcelona.
On most DraftKings EuroLeague slates last year, Tornike Shengelia was the highest priced player. He led Baskonia in minutes last year, and while some signings have made the team deeper, I don’t see why Shengelia wont be as big of a focal point.
Adam Hanga had a big series against Efes last year in the playoffs. The arrival of Mirotic could lessen the impact of Hanga, but the price is right to see if he can beat up on Efes yet again.
Bojan Dubljevic is one of the more versatile EuroLeague centers, so he could be a load for CSKA to handle. However, he’s still a risk against that solid CSKA front.
It took a bit for Mindaugas Kuzminskas to get acclimated to life in the EuroLeague, but he took off later in the season for Olympiacos. He should see a pretty large role for his price, at least early on.
Youssoupha Fall is a load if he can get on the court. Baskonia is pretty loaded up front, but word around Vitoria-Gasteiz is that Fall could make an impact from the beginning. His offensive game isn’t polished, but he’s a defensive force that could command court time.
