Inter Milan face Juventus at the San Siro on Sunday, Oct. 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Derby d’Italia clashes tend to be the biggest fixtures of the Serie A calendar regardless of the two teams’ fortunes. But with Inter looking like genuine title contenders this season, the anticipation has been even more feverish than usual.

Antonio Conte’s side are the only Serie A team still to have a 100 percent record and come into this game top of the table, two points above Juve, with more goals scored and fewer conceded than their bitter Turin rivals.

While Inter’s performances haven’t always been dazzling, they’re still worthy of their league position. By contrast, despite glimpses of brilliance from them, Juventus are yet to really click under new coach Maurizio Sarri. In fairness to Sarri, though, the Turin giants’ displays had already been far from great throughout the second half of last season.

There are so many narratives surrounding this game, most notably that current Inter coach and director of sport Giuseppe Marotta were both key architects of Juventus’ resurgence at the start of the decade, and that the game will renew the battle between Diego Godin and Cristiano Ronaldo, who faced off so many times during their time in Madrid.

The Serie A match between Inter Milan and Juventus will be broadcast live on ESPNEWS. Live streaming is available on ESPN+, which you can access with your cable or satellite subscriptions, either online or through the ESPN app.
