Fantasy Football picks: Week 5 SNF Colts vs. Chiefs

Game theory is something that I have had to really work on going into this season, and it really takes your game to the next level once you start to get the hang of it. With single-game slates, game theory is a little bit different due to the 1.5x MVP point slot. Usually, this spot is used for the most popular play on the slate, which is normally a quarterback. However, I will tell you a little secret, very rarely do chalk MVP quarterbacks win you a single game tourney.

Game theory will change from slate-to-slate, but in this game we will want to get exposure to both quarterbacks in cash games, placing Mahomes in the MVP spot. He has the most upside on the slate, but Jacoby has plenty of upside as well, so in GPP’s he would be a great pivot for the bonus spot. Another great pivot would be to put Kelce in the MVP position, which I really like for tournaments. Just make sure you still pair him with Mahomes, as that should be the highest-scoring combo of the night. One last pivot would be to put TY Hilton as the MVP, which again just make sure you pair him with Jacoby.
