11. player. 31. . Edge. New York Giants. Yetur Gross-Matos

The New York Giants had to be feeling good heading into their Week 5 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings, even though star running back Saquon Barkley was ruled out prior to the game. Rookie quarterback Daniel Jones was undefeated in two starts heading into the battle with the Vikings, making plays with his arm, and his legs, in bringing the Giants back to .500.

However, all of that happiness turned to misery against Minnesota, who rattled the rookie signal-caller, and dominated on both sides of the ball. For the Giants, this could be a very long season, but a season of growth, and one that could net them a top-10 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft next April.

With that pick, the Giants need to bring in more talent on defense, as the unit as a whole has been downright terrible at times this season. Yetur Gross-Matos is one of the better edge rushers in this draft class, and based on how bad the Giants are at getting after the quarterback, his help will be needed immediately as a rookie next season.

. Offensive Tackle. Los Angeles Chargers. Tristan Wirfs. 12. player. 13

Heading into the 2019 NFL season, many expected that the Los Angeles Chargers would be one of the last teams standing in the AFC. However, running back Melvin Gordon held out, and the team had to deal with a ton of injuries, and as it stands, they would be picking at No. 12 overall if the season ended tomorrow.

While Philip Rivers is still a very good quarterback, and the Chargers may right the ship just yet, them missing the playoffs is starting to become a reality. Offensive tackle Russell Okung is dealing with a pretty scary injury right now, and when it comes time for the Chargers to pick in 2020, they may look to bring in a new franchise left tackle in Tristan Wirfs.

A devastatingly strong offensive tackle from Iowa, Wirfs has the size, and strength to play on the left side at the NFL level, even as a rookie. This is a Chargers team that is not getting any younger on offense, and if they do end up struggling the rest of the year, Wirfs would be a nice consolation prize early in the 2020 NFL Draft.
