Fantasy Football picks: Week 6 TNF Patriots vs. Giants

Golden Tate – This is likely a popular value play at just 8k, but Jones has basically no other option here. Darius Slayton is another good play, but he is slightly more expensive and is nowhere near as proven as Tate. Returning for a suspension last week, Tate played 67% of the snaps, which was second on the team to Sterling Shepard. Well, Shepard isn’t playing in this game, leaving Tate as the number one man in New York. The Patriots have had a top-three ranked defense all year long, and they are no slouch against the pass, ranking very well. This play is strictly in use due to the limited options, and price tag, nothing more.

Jon Hilliman – This is yet another priced down guy, who will get a spot start here with Gallman, and Barkley ruled out. It’s not a flashy play by any stretch of the imagination. Jon did play roughly 35% of the snaps in last week’s game and was not good, to say the least. I expect that number to rise into the 60-70% range as one of the only healthy backs on the roster. Keep your expectations low here, but he makes for a cheap player, with a high amount of usage.

Rhett Ellison – Rhett is minimum priced on FanDuel and will get the start with Engram ruled out. He has gotten a few receptions every now and then and is basically the only other tight end on the roster that has played any snaps. I do not know much about Ellison, but any man priced this low, getting a good bit of snaps is a great play.
