DraftKings Showdown: Flex

Tom Brady – $11,800

Weather permitting, Brady and the Patriots will be able to find success against this poor pass defense. He has made it clear in his interviews that he is unhappy with how this passing attack has played lately and will be looking to get things back on track against this horrendous secondary. With the Giants allowing 21.3 points to quarterbacks, Brady is likely to do so tomorrow night.

Daniel Jones – $8,000

There is not much to really like in this matchup for the Giants and Daniel Jones. His team looks to be depleted with injuries as his top three offensive weapons are likely out. To make matters worse, he might have to play in the pouring rain and winds in the 25-35 MPH range. This Patriots defense is outstanding, as they allow the least amount of fantasy points to quarterbacks and wide receivers. One will be hoping for some garbage time with Jones, as the Patriots are likely to be playing with a massive lead. With not many other options, Jones is one of your best Giants that you can use on this slate.

Golden Tate – $7,000

The matchup is not ideal as the Patriots are one of the best teams at defending slot receivers allowing 6.7 points-per-game according to fantasy league collective. However, someone has to catch passes from a team that is likely throwing a ton down multiple scores. In reality, no matchup against this Patriots defense is ideal, so take the most talented player left on this Giants roster.

Jon Hilliman – $5,800

Last week Wayne Gallman suffered a concussion early and was knocked out of the game. The Giants turned to rookie Jonathan Hilliman who carried the ball nine times for 20 yards. Not the best return on your investment, but with so few active bodies available against the Patriots, someone is going to get the volume. I am going to play Hilliman in my bad weather lineups that cater to running backs and defenses.
