Fantasy Football 2019: Buy Low, Sell High or Hold?
Carson Wentz – Buy Low
Outside of the 313-yard game in week 1 against the Redskins, Wentz is averaging 209.8 yards per game with seven touchdowns and two interceptions. He’s still scoring but the yards aren’t there. It may be due to his 57.0 completion rate.

The running game looks good with Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders, but it could be better as well. Maybe getting DeSean Jackson back will help spark this offense. It may not be this week against the Vikings. If you need a quarterback, now is the time to trade for him.
Looking ahead, the Eagles face the Cowboys, Bills and Bears before their bye week. After, they get the Patriots, Seahawks, Dolphins and Giants.
Kyler Murray – Sell High
Murray hasn’t thrown for a touchdown in the last two weeks, but he does have two rushing touchdowns. While Lamar Jackson is making plays with both his legs and arm, Murray hasn’t been as effective with his arm.
After his big game in week 5, season-high 25.4 points and the Cardinals upcoming schedule (Falcons, Giants and Saints), you should be able to cash in on his recent production. Maybe a swap with the Wentz owner or a solid tight end could happen.
Patrick Mahomes – Hold
Mahomes started the 2019 season like he ended 2018, 1,195 yards, 10 touchdowns and zero interceptions. He’s come back down to Earth in his last two games, 636 yards and one touchdown.
The Chiefs faced Detroit and Indianapolis in those two games, two defenses he should have dominated. Whether it was the absence of Sammy Watkins or not, the Chiefs could not move the ball.
Reports say that Tyreek Hill is close to returning and could be active for this week while Watkins is unlikely to play. Travis Kelce is still a top-three tight end.
Don’t make any rash decisions. Unless you’re blown away with an offer, keep Mahomes and start him every week.
Trades are a good way to make significant improvements to your team outside of the waiver wire. You may have to sacrifice a player you like but that’s not what fantasy football is about. You want to win and parting with an early-season favorite may help you in the long-run. Thank you for stopping by FanSided Fantasy Sports!
