Eight additional WWE Superstars were drafted from the SmackDown pool of eligibles over the weekend.

The WWE Draft began on Friday on Friday Night SmackDown on FOX, with 12 Superstars (both individuals and tag teams) selected by the red brand and another eight to the blue. But over the weekend, more selections were made from the pool of 30 made eligible for Friday.

WWE announced on Sunday that eight more Superstars have been claimed by either Raw or SmackDown. On the Monday night roster, the additions are EC3, Eric Young and Sin Cara. For Fridays, the picks are Apollo Crews, Drew Gulak, Heath Slater, Tamina and The B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel).

That leaves four free agents from the 30-person pool established for Night 1 — Cesaro, Chad Gable, Humberto Carrillo and Akira Tozawa. They will be able to sign with the brand of their choosing.

Meanwhile, another 41 Superstars are eligible for the draft pool on Monday Night Raw. Like on SmackDown on Friday, a match will take place to determine which brand will get the No. 1-overall selection. This time, it will be Becky Lynch representing Raw and Sasha Banks representing SmackDown.

The remaining Superstars include Charlotte Flair, Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, new SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe, Intercontinental Champion Shinksuke Nakamura (with Sami Zayn), Andrade and Aleister Black.

The full list can be found on WWE.com and is now in alphabetical order after it was noticed that the draft picks on Friday night were listed in order of their eventual selection. Some seem predestined, however; Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode are the Raw Tag Team Champions, for example, and should stay with the red brand. But others — like Bryan, Andrade, Joe and Mysterio — could wind up as part of either show.

Trades are also an option and something to keep an eye out for on Raw (or the hours leading up to it). But ultimately, the separate Raw and SmackDown rosters should be finalized after Monday night, setting the stage for November’s Survivor Series pay-per-view, where it is expected that yet again the five-on-five Survivor Series team matches will be brand versus brand.

Next. Is Seth Rollins actually not cool anymore?. dark
