Fantasy Football picks: Five bounce back players for Week 7

Jared Goff – This could not be a better spot for Goff to bounce back in, let alone the entire Rams team. The stingy defense of San Francisco was able to limit Goff to only one single point. That was by far his worst performance of the season, but have no fear because the terrible defense of Atlanta is here to save the day. They were recently torched by rookie Kyler Murray, who had his best performance to date, throwing for 340 yards, and three touchdowns.

That Atlanta defense has been very poor to say the least, as they have been beaten badly by mostly every quarterback they have faced, including giving up two really big games in the past two weeks. They rank second in points given up to the quarterback position, along with a 40.1% DVOA, which is ranked 30th in the league. I would expect Goff to throw the ball 40 or more times in this game with ease, as Atlanta will keep this game competitive.

He had thrown for way over 40 attempts in the previous two games before facing that elite Niner defense. That pass rush was getting to him very often, along with the fact that Gurley was missing, which had a much bigger impact than most people may have realized. The inability to run the ball had a massive impact on the passing game, but Gurley is expected back in this game, which will open up the playbook and allow Goff to pick apart this weak defense.
