Daily fantasy golf: FanDuel PGA – Top-tier picks: ($11,000+)

Justin Thomas – $12,000 – (Cash/GPP)

Right out of the gate this week let’s talk about why Justin Thomas is looking at close to 50% ownership in every contest you will be in this week. JT won here at the inaugural CJ Cup two years ago, and while he wasn’t as great last year with a T-35 finish, he comes into this week as the slight favorite ahead of last year’s CJ Cup champ, Brooks Koepka.

In a small field, no-cut event like this, there is no reason why JT and Brooks are not both priced up to $12,500. I think there is a huge gap at the top in the pricing this week on FanDuel, and when we head down to the next range, the top four or five there should all also have another $500 or so on their salary as well. What this means is that with just one or two value plays, we can pretty much play whoever we want.

Thomas is playing as good as he has since well before the wrist injury that set him back a couple of months last season. He has finished no worse than T-12 since June, and he T-4 at the Safeway Open in his debut this season. With a recent win back in the FedEx Cup playoffs at the BMW Championship and the consistency he has shown as of late, along with a previous win here at Nine Bridges, it will be very hard for me not to put JT in every single one of my lineups this week at this price. Fade at your own risk this week.

***Also Consider: Brooks Koepka – $11,900***
