. Wide Receiver. New York Jets. Jerry Jeudy. 5. player. 30

The New York Jets put their first notch in the win column on Sunday, and did it in surprising fashion against the Dallas Cowboys. Heading into the game, the Jets had looked inept on offense, but that was because they had been without starting quarterback Sam Darnold, who missed the previous three games due to mono.

With Darnold back under center, things started to click for the Jets, who also had a monster game on defense against Dak Prescott and company. Looking ahead, the Jets have a much easier schedule in the second half, and could be picking later than No. 5, but if they are here, they would be wise to bring in another elite weapon for Darnold.

In this draft class, there are two outstanding wide receivers who should be the first two off the board, led by Jerry Jeudy from Alabama. Adding Jeudy to an offense that already features a playmaker like Robby Anderson, as well as running back Le’veon Bell, would give Darnold the kind of weapons he needs to continue to grow in to the franchise quarterback he is becoming,

player. 52. . Wide Receiver. Jacksonville Jaguars. CeeDee Lamb. 6

The Jacksonville Jaguars fell to the New Orleans Saints at home this past weekend, as the offense struggled to get going against a defense that is suddenly one of the best in football. So far in 2019, the Jaguars main storyline has come from  the quarterback position, where rookie Gardner Minshew has stepped in wonderfully for the injured Nick Foles over the past month and a half.

However, moving forward, whether it is Foles or Minshew who is under center, this team needs to add more playmakers at the wide receiver position. One player who could find himself going in the top ten at that spot is CeeDee Lamb from Oklahoma, who was downright unstoppable this past weekend against Texas.

In fact, Lamb’s performance was one of the more impressive in all of football this past weekend, as he showed what he can do with the ball in his hands. Leonard Fournette is a capable running back, and Minshew has shown he can win at this level, but Lamb would bring this offense a dimension that they just do not have currently.
